Installing on Android TV and Fire TV

1. 1Install a file-downloader app on your TV (free apps such as "Downloader" are available on Google Play and the Amazon store).
2. 2In the downloader, enter flixaitv.com/downloads and download the Android TV APK.
3. 3If the TV asks, allow the downloader to install unknown apps. The menu name varies by device; it is usually under Settings › Device Preferences › Security & restrictions.
4. 4Confirm the installation and open Flix AI.

The Android TV app runs on Android TV 6.0 and later.

Signing in on the TV

There are two ways:

• With your phone: scan the QR code on the screen. If your phone has no camera, enter the code shown on the TV at flixaitv.com/link. Once you approve on the phone, the TV signs in by itself.
• With the remote: type your email and password with the on-screen keyboard. The keyboard's Next key moves to the password and Go signs you in.

If you do not have an account yet, choose Register on the TV; scan the code with your phone and finish signing up there, and the TV signs in automatically.

Installing on Android phones and tablets

1. 1Open flixaitv.com/downloads in your phone's browser and download the "Android Phone & Tablet" APK.
2. 2When the download finishes, open the file; you may be asked to allow your browser to install from unknown sources.
3. 3Complete the installation and sign in with your account.

The app runs on Android 8.0 and later. On tablets a layout designed for the larger screen opens automatically.

Not at the moment. The apps are distributed only as APK files from flixaitv.com/downloads.

How do I install a new version?

Download the new APK and install it over the existing app; your sign-in and playlists are kept.
