How to add an M3U playlist: step-by-step guide

Before you start

• The M3U link from your provider (it starts with http:// or https://).
• A free Flix AI account. If you do not have one, create it in seconds at flixaitv.com/register.

Adding an M3U playlist on the web

1. 1Sign in to your account at flixaitv.com.
2. 2If you have no playlist yet, the Live TV page takes you straight to the add-playlist form. If you already have one, go to Profile › My Playlists › Add playlist.
3. 3Choose the M3U option.
4. 4Give the playlist a name (for example "Home") and paste your M3U link.
5. 5Confirm to start the import.

While the playlist is imported for the first time you will see a waiting screen. Large playlists can take a few minutes; the page opens by itself once the channels are ready.

Seeing the playlist on other devices

Nothing else to do. When you sign in with the same account on the Android TV, Android phone/tablet, macOS or Windows app, your playlist is already there.

Common errors

• Address not found (HTTP 404): the link was copied incorrectly or the provider changed it. Get the link from your provider again.
• Subscription expired or credentials invalid: your subscription with the provider may have ended, or the credentials in the link may have changed.
• The address does not return a valid M3U playlist: the link may open a web page instead of a playlist. Ask your provider for the direct M3U link.
• The playlist was added but Movies/Series are empty: your playlist only contains live channels. Movies and series appear when you add a playlist that includes them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add more than one playlist?

Yes. In Profile › My Playlists you can add new playlists, re-sync existing ones or delete them.

Do I need to update my playlist?

If your provider changed the playlist, use the re-sync option in My Playlists to fetch the latest version.
